He HAS to say that, but no way does he believe it: nor does Hux. Jonathan Redhead wrote a piece yesterday where he looked at Palace's run in 03/4 - and they were miles better placed after 30 games than we are.

Let's get real here: our last chance of something to shout about this season (apart from the derby game, of course) is Saturday: I think we should focus our resources on that, and have confidence we'll pick up enough points to stay comfortably clear of the bottom 3 (which we will). And if we play well on Saturday, it should give us the confidence to move up the league too: that's what's happened to the boys of '67. 19th when they played Man Utd, 11th when the season ended.
