Our GP sent Mrs AB home with stomach pains, telling her she'd put her back out.

Saw another GP at the practice 18 hours later, rush straight to hospital with a gall bladder that needed taking out.

I was sent home with a stern face and a lecture on the statistical likelyhood of skin cancer and the dangers of believeing media hype when I presented a suspect mole.

Another doctor took a look at it and made an appointment for a removal and a biopsy straight away.

So you win some and lose some, hey?
