I was driving the other day and manged to annoy myself about the word on the street

it is SLOW.

now 5mph is slow, but then 40mph is slow if you're tanking around a country road at 60mph.

What annoyed me was why I had to make a value judgement on what SLOW meant at each bend when I would have prefered a decrease in speed limit to do that for me!! Much safer I thought.
