1) Fucking awkward and contrary for the sake of it.

There is, of course, the alternate left wing view point of view which states that Pants is f**king awkward and contrary for the sake of it, caused by capitalist oppression.

This is strangely mirrored by the free market view which states that Pants is uber-f**king awkward and contrary for the sake of it, due to undue intervention from external parties.

In general, the consensus is f**king awkward and contrary for the sake of it.
