Grant

I voiced my displeasure when he was appointed; I thought he didn't have the necessary experience. It was ******* blantently obvious to everyone that this club was in a mess (and still is) and that an experienced manager needed to be brought in. It is also worth pointing out that experienced managers such as Dave Penney, who wanted the job, I'd have had no hesitation in giving the job to. Also, it was the broad that went to Grant; he didn't come to us!

When Worthington was sacked, I was expecting the board to bring in an experienced man. That said, judging by their woeful record with managers, would the appointment of someone like Peter Grant really surprise anyone? In the words of Peter Grant, "It beggars belief".

I feel sorry for Grant because of what he inherited off that blarney minister, but he has made a few Worthingtonesque decisions and those have left us questioning his ability. He talks a good game and I would like to see one.

I don't think Grant was the right person to replace Worthington and I'll maintain that stance until I see some concrete proof that this football club is moving in the right direction.

The board can **** off - it's their fault that we're in this pile of stagnating s**t!
