One's high profile, one's low profile.
One's played a few, and been REALLY rubbish, one's played hardly any, so hard to form an opinion.
One's job is meant to directly drive the team forward - score a goal and you are a saviour, you might win a game, and one's a right-back - unglamourous and can be anonymous - if he has a bad game but Earnie scores a hattrick, then it is forgotten.
Observations... not necessarily the right way to think about players - but that's life
