From 96 until 2002/3 season, the Prem rights were split between Dutch channels RTL4 and SBS6 - both standard cable channels. We got more Premiership games than you lot have.

Since 2005/6, we get all the Sky Prem games live PLUS all of the Saturday ones on at the same time, but now on the premium digital channel (which I have).

While those rights were being transferred, there was one season with NO live Premiership at all in Holland.

Want to guess which one. FFS.

Some pubs have Sky, so most of the ones we were on I went to. And now I remember it, the game at St. James' was on (we got a draw), and Safri's goal wasn't in it. So I should have known I spose...
