Keeping it brief: bank charges are not necessarily legal (I'm tempted to say ARE ILLEGAL) and you can claim them back.

That's the thirty bills they'll charge you for bouncing a cheque or going over your limit or anything like that. If you've been coshed for charges over the last six years, you can get pretty much all of it back: one girl claimed back five thousand quid, and got a cheque for ?4600 from the evil f**kers.
