Standard terms of business

It's often a good idea to have standard terms of business on the back of the letter you send accepting the appointment (you can have as a pdf you send to clients you pick up electronically). This should include reasonable payment terms (I think 30 days is reasonable) and a clear statement that the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act will be applied on default. If you post your email addy I can send you some I've seen (I can't post here as they are copyrighted - being a writer you'll be expert at "adapting" them for your own porpoises....)
