That's what I think
we're spoiled by a diet of top-class football almost 4 or 5 days a week on TV.
Then we turn up and watch something that's just rubbish by comparison. If you've ever watched a Championship game on TV that's not involving Norwich then most crowds are really quiet and the quality of football (compared to the Prem and La Liga) is obviously pretty crap.
And the younger fans have grown up in this top-class saturation TV footy era and don't remember when it was a big event to go to the football because there was hardly any on TV. When I was a teenger I'd look forward to the footy all week, get there an hour before kick off and watch all the warm ups and read the programme. Now it's just another game and I get there at 2.55pm.
