I think the motive behind that is to protect what is quite clearly a fragile defence. Maybe we could go out and play an attacking formation, but you can bet your bottom dollar that if it exposed the likes of Donkey and we got stuffed 0-4, fans would think he's off his rocker!

At the end of the day he's here to get points, more so than entertain us. Maybe there are better formations but again, we can't expect him to find the "click" after such a short period of time.

Maybe he will prove to be not the man for NCFC, but anybody who thinks they're in a position to state that already is being unfair. Many managers start poorly, Sir Fergie was nearly axed before he turned ManYoo into world beaters.
