There's a lot more to every situation that one player.

Mallorca did well when he was there. At the same time a real world class player was emerging. They both left. You can't conclude from that that it was Luque that was important.

He hardly set the world on fire at Deportivo. As judged by the fact he wasn't a regular.

Now he's sixth choice at Newcastle.

Yet somehow he's class.

He isn't.

He's a decent player, nothing more.
