That doesn't mean he's any good. It means people paid money. There are plenty of examples of s**t footballers who've had a lot of money paid for them.

Or that clubs qualified for the Champions League when he's played for them? Surely that says more about the team than Luque.

Or that he has 16 caps? Carlton Palmer.
