Oooooo nostalgia-tastic
The no-man's land in the Barclay was great, full of slightly nervous coppers with occasional burning scarves, fireworks etc, plus the obligatory pyscho from each set of fans who would hang on the fence, stripped to the waist, screaming abuse and spitting till he would lose it, try to climb the fence and get hauled out of the ground.
"Chanting and singing throughout the game"??!! I think you must have been watching highlights ... but there was more than there is now. I'd love to see some standing areas reintroduced, they were much better at noise creation
