Just Watched A Load Of Our Games From The Seventies...

Bloody HELL! How things change....

Remember the Barclay being cut almost in half between home and away fans?

There being nothing but metal railing at the front of the River End (as was), it was almost like a municipal park ground or something.

Kevin Keelan and other keepers never wore gloves!

Chanting and singing throughout the game!

Whenever the ref gave a decision-penalty, free kick, offside, whatever, everyone accepted it, no-one surrounded him and they just got on with the game.

Mel Machin was a very good player.

As was Phil Boyer

Loved all the ads for Watney's!

Who remembers those halcyon Carra Rud days?
