Millions a year at Inter Milan, living in the fashion capital of the world
Millions a year at LA Galaxy, living in Hollywood, celebrity capital of the world
Millions a year at West Ham, living in his home town of London
A couple of million a year at Blackburn, probably living back in Manchester where most of his mates are.

Or

10 grand a week playing for a mediocre Championship club with an inexperienced manager, no European football, living in Poringland with no motorways for miles, Castle Mall and Liquid.
