But didn't go down the front. In the more intimate and, frankly, frenzied Dublin setting I was somehow drawn in and forgot to remove my glasses - they were gone by the end of the second song thanks to the boot of some crowd surfing punk throwback.

I think the Dublin gig was Bruce Foxton's first appearance (anyway, Burns was the only original member left by then) - is he still playing with them?
