the loss of the parachute payments should not really effect us, should it?

Surely before we were promoted we budgeted to be in this league for a long time. Also after a promotion, i presume we budgeted to relegated (in fact i know that) and to stay down for a few seasons?? It would have been financial suicide to gamble the budget (which i dont think we have, most of the money spent has been what has been earned by sales etc) on gaining promotion within these 2 seasons??
