It's slightly better when Safri plays because he looks for the ball and tends to sit a bit deeper.

Ideally, we need to scrap this 4-5-1 and play 4-4-2 with Chadwick and Croft on the wings - that way Safri and Etuhu wouldn;t be dragged wide all the time, leaving gaps through the middle and leaving players not knowing who to track back.

At QPR this season, I remember leaving with the impression that each of the back four had a very good game individually - no surprise that it was the wide players that caused us troubles on that occasion as well.
