Just to muddy the waters.
I had heard that it was the Fiat *Punto*, not the Ford Pinto that suffered with the name in other languages. Story was that "punto" was course slang for "very small penis" in some Italian dialect.
Probably apocryphal but there you go.
How long, do you imagine, before Rubbish Steve shows up to be smugly superior over knowledge of languages?
