If I were Granty
If I was Granty I would try and off load the following players:
The Doc
Jurgen Colin
Andy Hughes
Carl Robinson
Ian Henderson
Peter Thorne
Loius Jean
I would seriously consider the positions of the following as the jury is still very much out on them in my opinion:
Dickson Etuhu
Paul Gallager
Ryan Jarvis
Jason Shackell
Paul Mcveigh
Safri
Plus all the youngsters like Eagle, Cave Brown, Halliday etc who I simply don't think are ever going to be up to it Spillane excepted.
I would try and bring in the following:
2 x Centre backs
1 x left Back cover (Boyle can go back to Everton asap)
1 x right back
1 x creative midfielder
1 x Left winger cover
1 x right wing cover
1 x defensive midfielder
1 x Young target man
Shit when you look at like this we basically need a whole new team! Worthy really has left us with a s**t squad. I would only keep Fleming as he is a strong influence in the dressing room.
The worrying thing is Grant is going to have to be one hell of a wheeler dealer to repair this squad as he has no money at his disposal and the players that I have listed he should get rid of will be lucky to raise ?500,000 between them.
Good luck Granty I think you may need it.
