i can think of many. many occasions in the past couple of years where confirmation of signings (which have admittedly been previously rumoured or links confirmed) have appeared on here.

i've even posted a couple myself (but not any more because i recognise its "me me me" element, whereas the likes of hendrikus with his "you heard it here first")!
