I Refute Your Refutation Of My Refutation!

There is a distinction between rumour and actuality. I can think of no occasion when a rumour on this website has led to anything substantial. Most 'rumours' that are correct are based on newspaper articles beforhand (e.g. Ashton and 'The Daily Telegraph' which WAS a rumour before it was announced shortly after).

I guess my real 'beef' is with those buffoons whose speculation is based on (i) fantasy (ii) after a deal has already been done (iii) because they have nothing else to write!
