Not because he's s**t, but because you have to be able to take a certain level of abuse (and what was said to him was not very bad - just about his playing ability, nothing about his family or anything).

You can't go attacking your own fans - he had to be pulled out of the crowd by Gallagher, so god knows what he would have done if he hadn't been stopped.

And let's face it, if any of us spat at one of our customers, we'd be sacked for gross misconduct.
