It also seems to me that the board are now 'trying to have their cake and eat it'.

Whilst publicly undermining the boss they expect his players to pull him out of the sit - u - a - tion.

They have made his position untenable.

In my opinion they are trying to shame him into resigning rather than paying up his contract. It's very shabby all round.

The board need to bite the bullet, cough up the cash, say thanks very much and show old Nige the door.
