The problem is that Delia is really hiding behind her popularity for having saved the cluib from financial disaster. If you look at the accounts the majority of he bailing out was done as structured loans agianst the assets of the club and hence the risk was not really that high.

If people start shouting for her head then she will dump Worthington in a heartbeat.

Its all about the great ego of the baord. They are immune to criticism becasue of this popular myth that "if Delia goes the club will collapse".

In my honest opinion that will not happen since the finances have been structured in such as way to allow stabilty.
