The three sides that really wanted him - Brighton, Watford and Scum are three that are going to be scrapping around to avoid relegation. We are setting our sights somewhat higher and need players of real quality. Ask yourself honestly - if we had wasted money on Forster (ha ha ha!) and Parkin (totally untried) how would you feel?
Instead we've picked up a member of last season's championship winners for nowt.
