At the festivals ?

Bearing in mind the last one I did was 11 years ago, and I was officially a volunteer, it was ?10 per 8 hour shift plus a meal voucher. Plus, especially at the earlier ones, all the beer not sold to punters so left over at the end was given over to the stewards for free on the last night.

Point was that if you got the right shifts, you did f**k all, watched the acts, and got to schmooze with them afterwards...
