... what do you reckon the chances would have been of us retrieving the game on Saturday using last season's tactics? We'd have hopelessly punted the ball forward hoping for something to 'drop for us'. Which is exactly what Luton would have expected. As it was, the 4-5-1 forced us to keep passing the ball and to be a bit more crerative.
And anyway my major memory of the game (or the second half at least) was the way we kept on trying to make chances on the deck for Hucks and Earnshaw.
