Why do the words "could be worth up to ?2 million"
lead me to fear that we have negotiated a pathetic initial fee with the rest all linked to appearances, england call ups, Lord lucan returning etc?
No doubt Mr D will be in the press shortly to explain how we actually still have no money to spend as when we sell players we only get the money in installments spread over 8 years whereas when we buy them we pay the whole lot up front with interest and have to take into account the future costs of feeding them at Colney for 3 years!
Still - if it is ?2 mill not bad business. just a shame we couldn't have used this situation to get a striker in exchange!
