Interesting debate I was having earlier

Were the Hiroshima and Dresden bombings greater atrocities than Auschwitz?

As something of a social pioneer, my argument was that, whereas Auschwitz was the horrific product of a morally corrupt regime, fuelled by cumulative radicalisation and a fair bit of insanity. In contrast, Dresden and Hiroshima were the calculated prodcut of the 'moral crusaders' in the war. They were entirely acts of retaliation after the war had been won and served no logistic or military purpose, other than to scare the Soviet Union.

It is not right that the latter two have been glorified to an extent. They should be regarded, along with Auschwitz as unforgivable atrocities. Churchill and Truman were pure war mongering scum.
