His persistence with a clearly out of depth Holt and apparent freezing out of other players (Charlton, Doherty & McVeigh) cases in point. We do, at least, have some depth up front, although opinions will vary as to the quality. Personally, I'm comfortable with Jarvis, Henderson, Jonson or even Hucks filling in as necessary (McVeigh is probably on his way). I'm not so happy with having only Safri in midfield and only Jonson on the right (he's a striker by the way, not a right winger) or only Shackell in central defence (Fleming and Charlton will do a job next season but are not the future) and only Helveg at right back.

I take your point about order of signings (or, more accurately, speculation); but I don't think we have any need of another striker - unless Ashton is sold, which is a very remote possibility - maybe in January, but that would imply we are buggered anyway. I'd even stick with what we've got if Leon was sold. It's time we saw whether Jarvis and Henderson really are up to it. No point wasting even a few hundred grand on yet another striker when it can be put to better use in the defence and midfield.
