A leading Championship side needs four decent strikers - Hucks and Jonson will clearly be employed elsewhere in the side and Henderson and Jarvis are still young with maybe only one of them being up to it anyway.

Parkin is a perfect option as cover for Ashton and a replacement for Svensson. And remember - he is a big striker and we don't have anyone other than Ashton with that kind of strength.

I am sure that if Worthington believes we need strengthening elsewhere it will happen - but this possible purchase is utterly irrelevant to that.

Svensson was an experienced target man and he needs replacing.

I just can't understand why you people can't see that.
