when i was at middle school

we used to walk past this old mans house and he was always sitting by the window, looking out. We used to dare each other to give the old guy the bird and then run off.

One day, we were going past and i was getting ready to do a v sign when i saw a hand coming to the door, so i quickly put my hand back in my pocket. Imagine my horror when i saw the man leaving the house was not the guy who lived there but my headmaster!!! He stopped me and my friends, took us into the house and asked the old man if we were the culprits. The guy said it wasn't us and the headmaster let us go home.

I had just had a haircut (a number one cut for the first time) and my mate was wearing a new coat. How lucky were we? If we had been identified, my parents wuld have probably sent me to borstal or something and i'd now be a heroin addict living in the street somewhere.
