plus we have to pay bonuses.

So if we were paying him 15k a week plus goal, promotion and what other bonuses are used as incentives it could cost us more than paying for a years contract for a decent young Lb or CM.

Sutton was a great player for us, he should remain that, whether he plays for the scum or not but I don't believe he should come back.

With my cynical hat on I might suggest that it may be a move by his agent to try and force city's hand. We always hear the '3 or 4 options from players but its just a phase so not to publically weaken their bargaining position.
