It is not our war

You may not have noticed, but the price of oil, and hence the economic stability of the entire Western world, depends on keeping the terrorists at bay in the Middle East and places like Nigeria. The 'wars' affect all of us. The 'stay out of other peoples business' brigade really do have blinkers on to not see that.
Israel daily has to fight for it's very existence, not an enviable situation to be in for it's people. I am not particularly pro-Israel, but some balance needs to be applied to the argument here.
