Warne is still dangerous...
but not the player he was. Certainly he'd never produce the likes of THAT ball that got Gatting out all those years ago.
What's encouraging is that the average age of the Aussie team is 2 years older than England's. Would be more if it wasn't for 'Goughie' (all hail cousin Dazza). Brave new England bringing on the likes of Strauss, Pieterson, Lewis, Solanki, Flintoff, Harmison etc etc...
Look at the decrepid Aussies, still relying on the likes of Hayden, McGrath, Gillespie, Martyn, Warne, Gilchrist, Ponting. Some good young players coming through like Clarke and Hussey, but NOT enough. Their time is up, and once the oldies finish playing it really will be the end of the era. In fact, this tour of England IS the beginning of the end for them!
