And I can't see it happening, any new signings are now playing catch up with no time to get fully immersed into our pre-season.

The only way this season will be any good is if we suddenly find someone capable of delivering a decent cross for peanuts, discovering the abilty to not play in a predicatable manner and having very little in the way of injuries. Even at best the play-offs will be a real achievement at this rate.
