Roxette, 19 top 40 hits, HOW?......

now ABBA, they were quality 70's, Swedish honey pop. Pure sounds, senseless lyrics(apart from a few), well written and performed, a bit of eye candy for the gents, their records still sound great today, gets the dancefloor filled at weddings, what else could you ask for?
Roxette, on the other hand, some old hag, looking as though she's about to lay a square egg, singing about joyriding, with partner-boyfriend-husband bloke who believes he's cool 'cos he can play a guitar and has fuzzy hair!
Nightmare!
Did anyone on this site really buy any of this crap?
