I don't think the Board have any confidence in Worthless spending money, I still think the

following options apply.

A) Give him no money & the Board watch what he does with the current squad. Get off to a good start free some cash up for him or get off to a bad start get rid of him & have some cash for new manager.

B) They are trying to get him to resign or he is seeing out a notice period.
