Nice words from Farke...

I was deeply saddened to hear about the heartbreaking news.



I was blessed to be allowed to walk side by side with Delia and Michael for nearly 4,5 years.



I couldn’t have asked for better owners and Michael‘s professionalism and his calm intelligent leadership was second to none.



We have experienced some of the greatest success of this club in the recent history and without Michael’s influence and calmness, it would have not been possible.



But more important was even to be allowed to get to know him as a human being:

His knowledge, his experience, his kindness, his sense of humour - I will never forget our conversations.



For example during a relaxed dinner when we spoke about his early beginnings of his work life, his love for cricket, literature and opera.

A conversation with him and his thoughts about life were always very interesting and inspiring.

He will be deeply missed and his influence on the people who were allowed to walk with him through life will live on forever.

Lots of love for his loves and especially Delia during these tough times. All our prayers are with her and Michael.
