I’m not too downhearted about tonight
We were always unlikely to win but we put in a reasonable effort against a team much, much better than us (as you’d expect them to be with the amount they cost). I certainly wasn’t embarrassed by our performance, we were just undone at the back by better players. We had moments where we fought hard and moments where we switched off. We made some great passes and we made some s**t passes. To be honest, that Samba kid looks a real prospect. No shame in today, it’s done and out of the way with no injuries and no humiliation.
