when you get what tantamounts to the vote of confidence. Sometimes I think managers think their workforce are thick and haven't a clue what's going on.

Still in certain respects, as you're personally at a crossroads in your life, this could be the impetus you need to move on. Remaining pro-active is tough, but certainly easier than having to react to a situation beyond your control.

Reading some of that back sounds a trifle patronising, but that's not the intention. Trite as it sounds, from your pespective, it's as though the unrest at work was meant to be. What a great journey you have to look forward to Suggs...I'm ever so slightly jealous of you now.
