Went to Benedict’s last night.

Great food, but it reaffirmed my opinion of ‘fine dining’. Sooooo pretentious (fine dining, not Benedict’s in particular). If I’ve chosen a dish, I don’t need it explaining to me when it arrives. I certainly don’t need a back-story. Give me a good gastropub any day of the week.
