In my many miles of cycling and driving (outside London, tbf)…

… I have never ever seen anything even comparable to this. I do regularly (almost every ride) see motorists cross red lights, even at pedestrian crossings. And yes, occasionally cyclists too. But much more frequently, motorists.

This is my Norwich experience. And I’m not just talking about when I’m on the bike. I was on a Beryl scooter, last Friday afternoon, approaching the pedestrian crossing on Bracondale and saw a woman press the button. The light changed to red as I neared the crossing so I stopped, only to be overtaken by a car and a motorbike. Luckily the woman hadn’t stepped out. This is quite normal.
