wondered why i couldnt find a listing of the gig so broadened out the search to the whole of 2012 which then included all the uk dates & european festival circuit. turns out it was listed as at the LCR/UEA but i know for a FACT it was at the waterfront, so maybe tickets didnt sell to well and it got downgraded to the smaller venue.
my next gig as it happens has only just been upgraded to the bigger venue a couple of days ago; getdown services will now be at the uea/lcr instead of the waterfront. i actually wouldve preferred it to have stayed at the waterfront for an intimate sweaty gig much closer to home rather than a three mile schlep to the outskirts of the other side of the city to then be fighting a much bigger crowd for a decent spot for a boogie.
