even if i could be arsed to check the highlights out holland or the netherlands or the dutch and germany would still be out so there is really no point in "checking the highlights out" apart from wasting some time to confirm what i alredy know.

it's not been an enjoyable tournament by any measure with the crass hydration breaks and stupid pointless ref cams and shouty commentators and daft throw in rules for the sake of it and refs names on the back of shirts and bonkers stadiums with sunken pitches with 13 foot walls to the stands and banal darren cannage and the over sam matterfaceification slash mark pougatchianism have ruined football for me clive. i think i will part company with it and watch the tennis beans as ben stokes has utterly ruined cricket.
