yes, think i replied to a similar thread on here once. I wasnt someone who believed in
ghosts until it happened to me.
20 years ago visiting my ex wifes family in Italy in an old mountain village. Strict catholic family so I wasnt allowed to share a room with her as we werent married at that point.
I slept on a sofa bed in the living room. In the middle of the night something woke me and I heard pots in the kitchen rattling. I rolled over and thought someone was up doing something. Then in my ear I was spoken to in a language I couldnt understand (I speak Italian so wasnt that). I was a bit scared thought I was dreaming and rolled over to the other side of the sofa bed. Then it spoke in my other ear before I heard it go out the front door. At that point the dog started barking that was in its outdoor kennel. I was s**tting myself by this point as i didnt believe in ghosts and didnt know what to think.
Next morning the other half came downstairs and asked why I was making so much noise in the kitchen at 2am and did I hear the dog bark, had I annoyed it. My face went white as a sheet and she knew. The italians were convinced it was a ghost talking to me in tongues. I slept with the light on the next night LOL.
Another time a coule of years later we were in bed together at my parents house which is a very old large Hall. In the middle of the night we both woke up at the same time and saw a black shaddowy figure walk across my bedroom and go out the door.
