Why not?

How often do you see a forward penalised for pulling and trying to reach a ball in the box? The defenders virtually always get the benefit of the doubt, unless it’s pretty obvious. The Hurst / Hirst (whatever) one was a clear pull, even if it wasn’t that strong. I’d have wanted it if it was Toure.
