Still being asked now, has to go down as a huge mistake, and to be honest it must be a huge blow for the lads confidence to see Owen getting injuried, Rooney getting sent off, and even then still not being used.

I think if it would have been Crouch and Defo (or even a fit Ashton) on the bench when Rooney got sent off, Crouch wouldnt have been the only option left yesterday.

As someone said down the board, Walcott could have easily went as a non-squad playing member.
